With all the sponsorship ideas floating around today I found a very worthwhile and educational opportunity for some local businesses. The idea was that the businesses would sponsor scholastic magazine subscriptions for schools from high school all the way down to pre-kindergarten.

How Did This Particular Sponsorship Idea Work?

A letter signed by the teacher would be sent to local businesses explaining that the school itself did not have the sufficient resources or budget to bring scholastic magazines into the school. They sent a list along with the request letter so that the business could pick the magazine’s they wanted to pay for. All businesses that sponsored a subscription in return would be recognized in a letter that was sent home to each child’s parent. The parents read the letter, appreciate the businesses sponsorship and in theory, patronize that particular business in the future.
